The fund invests in companies around the world which are in the recovery stage of their life cycle with a strong potential to create value

The ES River and Mercantile Global Recovery Fund has been approved by the UK Financial Conduct Authority as an open-ended sub-fund of the ES River and Mercantile Funds ICVC, an investment company with variable capital incorporated under The Open-Ended Investment Companies Regulations 2001 and authorised as a UCITS scheme as defined by the Financial Conduct Authority.

Why Global Recovery?

The fund offers investors broad exposure across regions, sectors, capitalisation tiers and stocks, to investments, that the manager believes have particularly strong potential to create value, generally following a period of depressed profits.  The fund benefits from the expertise of a highly regarded manager who works within an experienced and talented team of investment professionals.

Investment process

The portfolio manager invests according to River and Mercantile's long established PVT philosophy, where stocks are evaluated by a combination of their potential to create value, their valuation and the timing of buying into a position.

Sophisticated quantitative analysis and intelligent screening finds only the best opportunities for the manager and investment team to debate and validate by applying rigorous fundamental research.
